D-III TAXATION STUDY PROGRAM FEB UNISMUH MAKASSAR PARTICIPATES IN IKPI NATIONAL BLOOD DONATION, ACHIEVES MURI RECORD

Makassar, August 24, 2025 — The D-III Taxation Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar participated in the national blood donation event organized by the Indonesian Tax Consultants Association (IKPI) Central. This event was held simultaneously across all IKPI branches throughout Indonesia, including the IKPI Makassar Branch, on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the 2nd Floor FKIK Hall, Unismuh Makassar Convention Center.

This social event was also attended by the Head of Makassar City PMI, Samsu Rizal MI (Dg. Ical), the Head of IKPI Regional Board for Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua, Mustamin Ansar, the Head of IKPI Makassar Branch, Ezra Palisungan, the Head of the D-III Taxation Study Program at Unismuh Makassar, Muhammad Khaedar Sahib, and the board members of the Unismuh Makassar Taxation Department Student Association.

This blood donation drive received high enthusiasm from communities in various regions. Furthermore, the event successfully set a MURI Record as the blood donation activity by the highest number of tax consultants ever held simultaneously in Indonesia.

The Head of IKPI Makassar Branch, Ezra Palisungan, expressed his pride in this achievement. "This is a great source of pride for us, especially since this event coincides with IKPI's 60th anniversary. Carrying the theme 'Real Footprints for the Nation', public enthusiasm was immense, and I believe this MURI record is a valuable gift for IKPI, especially for us at the Makassar Branch," he stated.

In line with that, the Head of the D-III Taxation Study Program at Unismuh Makassar, Muhammad Khaedar Sahib, affirmed that this activity is highly relevant to the mission of higher education. "This is part of the implementation of the Catur Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the aspect of community service. We highly appreciate and thank IKPI for involving us in this significant event. We hope that synergy and cooperation like this will continue in the future," he expressed.

The participation of students in this activity demonstrates a spirit of social responsibility and the active involvement of the academic world in humanitarian actions with broad impact. This event also serves as an important moment to foster humanitarian values, cross-institutional collaboration, and strengthen the relationship between higher education institutions and professional organizations like IKPI.(*)
